PHILIPPE HALSMAN

The signature is tailored to his work rather than his private life, it is stylized, clear and flowing and interestingly, since many artists' signature often portray parts of their profession, the two strong vertical lines in the H could stand for a structure that he utilized when working. Tripod?? The writing has excellent rhythm...(come to Triple Base to read more!)

OLIVER HALSMAN ROSENBERG

I had a 'deja vu' as soon as I saw this amazing piece and found the artist whose work is so similar to this, that I was stunned. The other artist, Adolph Hoelzel, had handwriting that resembled his art that looked like Oliver's. It is obvious that he wants only to be known and understood through his artistic process...

JonRubin_letter_web.jpg
JON RUBIN

John is a pleasant individual who wants to be understood and appreciated. He wants to be noticed in a crowd, his rightward slant shows an outgoing and friendly person. However, when it comes to developing close relationships he is cautious...

xylor_letter_web.jpg
XYLOR JANE

At the time of writing this sample the writer is under great stress, this may change at different times of her life, but the present writing shows...

langois_letter_web.jpg
MYLES LANGLOIS

He, too, has excellent rhythm, individualized script without any useless lead-ins or ending strokes. He shows good mental energy, being an 'uphill' writer...

mock_letter_web.jpg
KYLE MOCK

It is interesting that Kyle did not want to consider the size of the paper when embarking on writing a sample, so he has put himself into a position (on the paper) that suggests a preoccupation with his past...

TomMarioni_letter_web.jpg
TOM MARIONI

Wonderful first impression, quick thinker but very thorough, wants to be understood. Is economical by doing away with lead-ins and gets to the point...

gordon_letter_web.jpg
SAM GORDON

Sam's presentation on paper is unique in that he centers his writing with wide margins all around. Poets occasionally 'frame themselves', but it is also observed with people who need to feel 'untouchable'...

EricaEyers_letter_web.jpg
ERICA EYRES

She is an interesting combination of someone who is mostly concerned with her every day living process (large middle zone), manifesting a large “Personal Pronoun I” which stands out...

frank_letter_web.jpg
JONA FRANK

This is not addressed to the world but they are notes to herself, and more importantly, it is printed unizonally. Architects and designers often have that look, but his window has a black shade over it, and I don’t have the kind of time to roll it up.

ScottSnibbe_letter_web.jpg
SCOTT SNIBBE

This artist has an enormous power of concentration, filling the page with lots of information that he is familiar with but is unable to convey to the reader. It is difficult to read since his mind is ahead of his pen, which is comfortable for him...

brysongill_letter_web.jpg
BRYSON GILL

There are sometimes situations where a graphologist is presented with a sample that is difficult to analyze. This is one where I am unable to find characteristics that would add up to a solid description that can bring to life the individual who is the owner of the sample...

JimDrain_letter_web.jpg
JIM DRAIN

Outgoing, lively individual with a sense of drama. He has huge spaces between certain words which points to interrupted thinking...

ToddHido_letter_web.jpg
TODD HIDO

Todd is an extremely emotional individual whose moods may come at you like a tsunami. He is very visual, filling the page with many uniquely formed letters. He has a slightly uphill baseline, which shows no letting down in energy...

Dwyer_letter_web.jpg
JOHN DWYER

This is too unspontaneous, unizonal and written with pencil, and on heavy paper. So I cannot say anything about this individual. Sorry.

haines_letter_web.jpg
FRANK HAINES

Since he needs to change size of letters according to the texture of the paper I cannot analyze much. He seems perfectly pleasant, wants to be known since his name is the clearest of all of his writing...

vallance_letter_web.jpg
JEFFREY VALLANCE

It is not possible to draw a profile from the signature only, all it tells you is what the signor's public image is, rather, what he wants it to be. It is demonstrative, dramatic, imaginative and readable.
